About Synthetic Narratives
Generative AI and immersive technologies are transforming the way we create, experience, and understand stories. Synthetic Narratives brings together leading artists, technologists, and thinkers to explore the cultural, philosophical, and creative potentials of this rapidly evolving field.

Scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, in DVAA's Krause Hall, the day will feature two moderated panel discussions from 10am - 3:30pm and a special screening event at the Tusten Theatre from 5pm - 6:30pm (separate tickets may be purchased just to attend the screening event).

Each panel discussion will be followed by a breakout session.

Prsented in collaboration with MediaGarage.Art and the Stevens Institute of Technology, an earlier iteration of Synthetic Narratives, was previously convened at the Stevens Institute (Hoboken, NJ) on October 25, 2025.

About the Future/Think Symposia Series
As part of DVAA's 50th-anniversary programming, DVAA will present a series of dialogues that invite attendees to take a deep dive into key topics that are shaping the world in which we create, and consider what the future portends for artists and the arts as it relates to the arts in rural communities.

Each event will feature guest speaker presentations, panel discussions, breakout sessions, as well as integral opportunities to converse and connect with our fellow creatives.
