About the Retro Cinema Series

DVAA and Bar Veloce invite you to join us for Retro Cinema Nights at the Tusten Theatre!

You won’t want to miss these one-night-only screenings featuring classic films paired with classy cocktails, choice concessions, and curated opening performances! Tickets include themed snacks and live-opening entertainment.

Located in Narrowsburg, NY, DVAA’s Tusten Theatre, an art-deco proscenium theater, was once home to the Park Theatre (which operated from 1938 – 1964 by the Harden Theater Chain which also ran movie theaters in what is today Catskill Art Space in Livingston Manor and the Callicoon Theater in Callicoon, among other venues), where movie-goers took in films from Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Today, the Tusten Theatre is one of the area’s preeminent venues to experience local and nationally recognized talent in live theater, dance, music, and more, as well as the Deep Water Literary Festival, DVAA’s Big Eddy Film Festival!

Grab a friend or two and prepare yourself to fall in love with going to the movies all over again.
