Joan Fontaine stars as a young bride terrorized by the memories of her husband’s glamorous first wife. Laurence Olivier, Judith Anderson, and George Sanders also star.
Hitchcock’s first American film; Rebecca is based on the beloved same-titled 1938 novel by Daphne Du Maurier. The screening will be introduced by Patricia White, author of the new BFI Film Classics book about Rebecca.
